Ōmuro-ke (大室家 , lit. "Ōmuro family") is a spin-off manga of YuruYuri written and illustrated by Namori, featuring the Ōmuro sisters Hanako, Sakurako, and Nadeshiko as the protagonists.
In February 2020, Ōmuro-ke was nominated the 13th most wanted "manga we want to see animated" by AnimeJapan. [1] Two Ōmuro-ke anime movies entitled Ōmuro-ke dear sisters/dear friends were announced on August 4th, 2023, as is scheduled to release in Japan in 2024.
On November 30th, 2023, Ōmuro-ke dear sisters is scheduled to release on February 2nd, 2024.[2]
Description[]
The spin-off manga has been released on Niconico Seiga. The series first released chapters alongside episodes of the second anime season between July 2, 2012 and September 17, 2012, before resuming on Ichijinsha's Niconico Yuri Hime web manga publication from February 17, 2013.
Synopsis[]
Set in Takaoka, Toyama, the series revolves around the daily lives of the Ōmuro sisters, consisting of Hanako, Sakurako, and Nadeshiko; along with the Furutani sisters Himawari and Kaede, Hanako's classmates Mirai Sōma, Kokoro Ogawa and Misaki Takasaki, and Nadeshiko's classmates Ai Miwa, Megumi Sonokawa and Miho Yaeno.
